The idea of BarreCoast Stay is to give our friends, family, and visitors alike a chance to experience the RI coastline as a local would: take a class, walk around downtown, eat and shop with friends, explore our amazing beaches, take the little ones to Watch Hill and ride the carousel.
For me, traveling is about feeling comfortable and at home in the space I stay. I love the warmth and coziness of a home versus a hotel. I almost always travel with my family or friends and want space to spread out, not cram into one open room. I love hardwood floors, separate bedrooms and a washer and dryer. Having all of the kitchen amenities with the flexibility to cook some of my meals, while also having excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and healthy food options nearby, is important to me.
I want to wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee while sitting on the couch without having to call room service or get in an elevator. I love to work out at a local studio with lots of class options versus a hotel gym and the ability to walk to amenities, enjoy local attractions, go to the beach and be able to return 'home' to relax and enjoy a glass of wine on the porch before going out to dinner. I want room for everyone to spread out to watch a movie or play board games together and an outdoor yard for the kids to explore.
